


You did not read that wrong, they are releasing ONE HUNDRED BILLION ZIMBABWE DOLLAR note. Unfortunately, due to their insane inflation rate, Z$100BN isn't even enough to buy a loaf of bread.
I looked through flickr, and this picture demonstrated how much Z$ it costs to buy 1 beer:

Each bill is Z$500, and it costs Z$1-million for one beer back in November of 2007. According to the man that took the picture, thanks to inflation, now it costs Z$1bil for a beer.
A billion dollars for a beer, the world has clearly gone mad.
Well, actually, a beer probably costs about Z$200bn now.
