I know I love free stuff. Hell, even if you don't like free schwag you should go ahead and take it, just in case you may need it later (opening the pod bay door by combining a fishhook and a fluorescent green balloon while dousing the door with that bottle of 16.7 year old wine. Living my life like an adventure game, that's how I roll.) Anyway, Tor.com is offering a selection of free sci-fi ebooks available, most of the books are unfamiliar to me, but since they are written by well-known authors (Scalzi, Turtledove) it be well worth it to check them out.
Oh, and they have wallpaper taken from some of their more popular novels, which makes me want to rock out with my rooster out.
Besides, they are free, and you can't beat free, even if you have a stick and is high on meth while racing down the highway running over bunny rabbits.
