Want Your Kids To Play Nice?

How about having follow the Geneva Convention while playing Call of Duty?
I asked Evan to google the Geneva Convention. Then he had to read it and then we had to discuss it. This we did. So the deal is that Evan has to fight according to the rules of the Geneva Convention. If his team-mates violate the Convention then play stops and Call of Duty goes away for a while.

That's fucking retarded! There's no Swedish team on COD. Nobody plays by the Geneva Convention in real life, so what are they even trying to teach their kid....how to be a pushover pussy? How do you even break the Geneva Convention in that game? Are there triangular bayonets or phosphorus grenades or something? I mean it's not like you can shoot prisoners, because no one ever surrenders.

Calm down, dude, is it so wrong that he wants his kid to learn something while gaming?

.....No I guess not. It just seems somewhat ridiculous under the circumstances. It seems there would be better games to try and teach that lesson though. COD like any other shooter game is simplistic in it's main goal...killing people. Whatever Geneva Convention rules that possibly can be broken in that game, are probably broken all the time....so I guess it just sucks for the kid.
