In other news, if you ever thought to yourself "hey, some smoked ham hocks would go great stewing in my pot of black beans!" Don't, just don't, it's not worth it, there is a reason god created salted pork smoked sausage, jerkey, and bacon. No need to resort to ham hocks, trust me.
