Performance art... WTF?

Performance artists are a strange bunch (yes kettle, I know I am black as well). For example there was the recent story of the girl that was intentionally inducing miscarriages in herself in the name of art, apparently it was just "creative fiction", but still.

Then you have the lice infested artists living in an Israeli art gallery. The point of these particular wackos is that they are being hosted by the gallery, but at the same time are playing host to the lice. I just don't get the art in it though. However, it does have the artsy aspect in that it is causing controversy. Israelis are apparently a bit sensitive to seven Germans hanging out in an art gallery doing art about parasites.
Bad memories there i guess.











I much prefer this guys approach to performance art.

I doubt that it carries any significant social commentary, but how freaking cool would it be to see that while strolling back to the office after lunch?
I think it might make me do this
